The Jacaranda Collective // Blue Tit

The Jacaranda Collective, based in Campbell River, BC, connects independent artisans from East Africa to a global marketplace.  Founded by humanitarian Blythe MacPhee with an ethos of women's empowerment, the Collective operates on a model designed to bring real change through developing world creators through investment and profit sharing. 

These beautifully detailed birds are full of personality - hand-carved from jacaranda wood and painted by hand in Rongai, Kenya by a family of female artisans.
