Hokusan // Niju Hojicha (Roasted Matcha)

Rikko Osaki, founder of Hokusan Tea Canada, hails from Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Hokusan has been bringing award-winning Japanese tea to Canada, earning recognition with the Best Japanese Green Tea Award from the North American Tea Association in both 2022 and 2023.  Her early training at a 500-year-old tea farm instilled respect for Japanese tea farming, and the importance of enriching the soil to grow the highest quality tea and commitment to supporting Japanese green tea farmers and promoting physical and mental well-being for future generations.

Description: Hojicha Powder is a roasted green tea with a smokey, nutty, cocoa-like flavour. Often used in lattes or in baked goods, this tea has only 50 per cent of the caffeine found in Matcha, making it the perfect option for those who want a full flavour profile without the energy boost.
