Beekeeping has been a Gibbs family tradition for four generations - more than eight decades of shared wisdom, connection and a deep respect for the natural environment that has been passed down from generation to generation.
With fields that have been in use for over 100 years, situated amongst wildflower meadows, mixed forests, organic farms and natural pastures of clover and alfalfa, these diverse environments yield a beautiful depth of flavour.
Maker: Gibbs Honey
Origin: Vankleek Hill, Ontario
Description: Raw honey straight from the hive in hand-cut beeswax comb, just the way nature intended…raw, pure, unprocessed. Never heated, contains traces of pollen, propolis and beeswax. Floral, smooth, balanced and not too sweet.
Enjoy it right off a spoon - we love chewing the wax like gum, but it's also safe to ingest. Or stir chunks into yogurt or ice cream. Place pieces on top of warm pancakes, waffles or oatmeal. Pairs perfectly with a cheese board. Decorates cakes and desserts like a dream.
300 g hand-cut comb, packaged in a resealable plastic tub
